Thank you for using DukaPress. It is pretty easy to implement that - just edit dp-cart.php and add in the HTML.

Hello Team,

your shop-plugin is really great working ;-)
Just one question: I have to put in a checkbox which should be checked by the user before he an click on the pay button! If someone wants to buy a product in germany online he has to read and accept the UCGs ...
Is there a simple possibility to implement that checkbutton?

THX for your support ;-)

Hey Steve. Thank you for the ideas! And for using DukaPress.

-We're working hard on a modification of the Grid Display shortcode to be able to optionally show the quantity and/or variations. :)

-More options for discounts are definitely on the way. We love your idea of a fixed amount option. :)

Thank you!

(PS Please also use the forum next time so that conversation is easier than here)

Hi, I've been using DukaPress on a few client sites, tearing it up and rewriting the css to suit the clients needs. Everyone wants something different. On a recent site I found myself wasting a lot of time creating what DukaPress didn't offer, so here are some thoughts on what can be useful.

Displaying the product on the checkout.

Adding the product code or inventory number. Some sites have so much inventory that it's faster to look it up by code instead of name.

A way to display collections for products such as jewelry.
Imagine you have earring that also go well with a necklace and bracelet. You could add a grid at the bottom of the product page and then tell it to display specific items only. Lot of work. But wouldn't it be nice to have a way to display 3 or 4 pictures of different products that make a collection on the same page? Then you'd have to have a way to add each item separately or as a whole.

A return button. When you're looking at the product detail page there's no way other then clicking the return button to get you back to the previous page.

A little more style or at least a breakdown of the templates so we can write our own filters and functions.

Recently I has someone ask if there was a way to set up "bidding" for their one of a kind artwork. Is there a way to add this functionality? Is there a way to set this up with cap limitation? Starting bids? Silent auctions?

And lastly, perhaps a different image display for the single page. Having the images available in a carousel style gallery on the detail page might be a little more attractive.

If these questions have already been addressed, I'm new and my apologies. If they have answers, point them out to me so I can look into them please.

Hello again,

I have a couple suggestions...
It would be great if you could add a shortcode or option on product edit to display a quantity box on certain product pages. So more then one product can be selected from a drop down list of amounts defined by admin (1-10, 1-20, etc), or maybe have another option with a field to type in how many they would like, then they can add to cart and buy.

Another idea would be for the discount codes. It would be nice to have the option to make the coupons in set amounts of whatever the stores set currency is. ($'s for me.) So if the store wanted to have a $10 off discount, instead of percentage, they could.

Or perhaps have more options for discounts, like conditional coupons, (examples:
10% or $10 off, if 2 or more items over $100 added to cart) or (automatically applied coupons, maybe conditional to certain categories...like if 1-10 items in certain category selected= no discount, but if 11-20 selected =10% off, if more then 20 items=15%, etc)

Hello,

thanks for the job, very great.

I'd like to sell some customisable ceram products like mugs for example.

Is there a possibility to add an upload field in the product page to give to the customers to customize with uploading a picture in order to print on the ceram product ?

It would be very nice to have this feature.

Best regards
Fajy

I have dukapress installed, but I have a couple of downloadable products that are free, and I use paypal for products. The cart sends the users to paypal, but you can't do a transaction for free on paypal. How do you bypass paypal, but still use dukapress for free products?

Hello. Thank you for using DukaPress for so long. So sad to hear about the problems you have faced.
What do you mean you cannot delete even by FTP? The files didn’t get wiped from the server? I’m sorry but I have never ever heard of anything like this.
If you give us temporary admin access we can have a look at this and help you delete and extract the product info.

I had been using DukaPress successfully for almost a year but I had to stick with version 2.2 because the updates caused broken images.

So then the other day I noticed I had broken images even with the 2.2. I tried to update the plugin to the newest version and it would not update (I got an error message).

So then I tried to delete the plugin from within WordPress and was unable to.

So then I used ftp and tried to delete the plugin from the server and still was unable to!

So now I'm working on setting up ecommerce with another plugin, but in the meanwhile DukaPress is still stuck on the server. I'm also disappointed because I really needed to pull the customer data out of it.

Well, as you can see, the problem is the webhost blocking timthumb.php. They have to allow it for it to work.

The alternative is working with the code to remove timthumb.php

We have solved this bug by editing one line in .php file. But it is a good idea to have prices shown in an inquiry mode and Total price in confirmation page. I have one project in such configuration and it works grate localy. Looks like I need to check duka 235 beta while this bug not removed. Regards...
