I’d like to know if you have any “best practice” recommendations for filtering the output of certain widgets. For instance in the mini cart, I’d like to generate just the cart item count and the item totals and remove the link to the checkout.
I’d prefer to do this by filtering certain functions in my theme functions.php file, similar to how the Thematic theme allows you to do this with child themes. That way I am not altering the plugin code and backing myself into a corner if Dukapress comes out with an updated release in the near future.
Would it be possible to do a Tutorial showing How to add Digital Products?
Thanks
Thanks for the suggestion. Is this not enough? http://dukapress.org/docs/how-to-create-a-new-product/ (there is a part dealing with digital products)
All the same, we’re goign to do a new one.
When there is a visual demonstration it is much easier for some people to understand instructions.
I’d also like to see a video demo for digital files. For some of us who are not tech savvy, a video can make all the difference in the world.
Also, some people learn easier through visual, rather than reading or listing.
In inquiry mode when we add a product table headers goes blank from the sidebar and we have to refresh the page to get them back. Also when we update the quantities at checkout page.. table headers again go blank. Can you tell what can be done to fix this
Hi
I think I am going mad or stupid. I have Dukapress installed on Localhost.
I am a Dukapress newbie and think it is brilliant. It looks like it does exactly what I want.
I’m setting up a website for office furniture and want to be able to do the following :-
1. Have different pages for Chairs, Tables, Desks, Seating, Other Equipment.
2. Show all products for Chairs on the chair pages, all tables on the Tables page etc etc
3. Be able to click on a product and a detailed description appears in a popup window.
Can this be done. I’ve tried for over 2 days and now I’m stuck.
Can anyone give me a step by step, basic guide on how to do this.
Any help would be gratefully received.
Many Thanks
Paddy
Please follow these steps:
1. Create all your products
2. Put all your products in the appropriate categories
3. Create different pages for different categories and put in the appropriate shortcodes to display the ‘grid’ product pages. Make sure in the shortcode you specify the correct category ID.
Please note that you cannt currently have detailed description appear in a popup. It will load into a new page. The shop will operate similarly to: http://dukapress.org/demo/
Hi i using Dukapress for my store on line is great!! but i don’t know how to create a register or sign in page for customer to sign in and view their order
Can you help please

You currently cannot use DukaPress to create a register/login page. You can use the standard WordPress pages or another plugin.

Please help me, it is urgent.
Thanks in advance
Hello.
What you need to do is to edit the code to remove the unwanted fields. Unfortunately right now this is the only way. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
If you are unfamiliar with php it would be best to hire a developer.
Hello Team,
your shop-plugin is really great working 😉
Just one question: I have to put in a checkbox which should be checked by the user before he an click on the pay button! If someone wants to buy a product in germany online he has to read and accept the UCGs …
Is there a simple possibility to implement that checkbutton?
THX for your support 😉
Thank you for using DukaPress. It is pretty easy to implement that – just edit dp-cart.php and add in the HTML.
THX for your answer! Unfortunately I´m not a professional in HTML/PHP or CSS – but will try it;-)
Another Question: How can i change the layout of the automatically built invoice.
Want to put a new Logo and change some lines and the content.?!
THX you and best regards.
Ok…ok… just realized it. Should be all in the dukapress.php right 😉
Dukapress is one of the best things ever 🙂 Love the tutorials man!
Most welcome
