Over the weekend, there was the IPO48 event in Nairobi where participants have 48 hours to come up with a start-up from scratch to “market”.

The event was really interesting and it proved that even in Nairobi it is possible to build amazing technology-driven businesses in just 48 hours. You can learn more about the competition here.

As far as DukaPress goes, we are very happy to report that two (out of a possible 18) of the start-ups built their applications using DukaPress. Imagine that!
