The add to cart option is no longer working for me. The shop is infrequently used, only when we’re doing an order for the club so not sure how long it’s not working. See http://www.corktri.com/club-gear/male/ and try to add to cart.
I noticed this when I was on the previous version of WordPress and 2 versions back on Dukapress but updating both WordPress and Dukapress hasn’t fixed it.
Any ideas?
December 15, 2011 at 2:32 am #3240DonalGuestI just noticed I had the wrong shortcode for each individual products as I had designed it to buy from the grid layout. After fixing one, http://www.corktri.com/products/mens-hoodie-s-chest-36in/, it’s still not adding to cart.
December 16, 2011 at 12:04 pm #3306KelvinKeymasterHello
Thank you for being such a long time user.
Have there been any plugins that you have installed recently? Have you changed the theme recently?
Can you please try the default theme just for a second to see if your current theme is the cause of the problem?
Can you please try deactivate all plugins and see if there is one that is causing a conflict?
Thanks
December 16, 2011 at 12:40 pm #3309DonalGuestHi Kelvin,
Thanks for the response, I tried changing the theme but that didn’t work. I’ll try the plugin deactivation this evening.
I’ll be back again for the shipping add on for a different site I’m still developing. Great plugin, hope I can just get it to work again!
December 20, 2011 at 5:34 pm #3503DonalGuestStill not working but a few things I’ve noticed.
1. I was trying to edit the plugin code to see was it something I did last time I used it and noticed that the plugin file dp-cart was Inactive. I deactivated and re-activated the plugin and it now says it’s Active. Cart not working after this though.
2. The Settings from the plugins page doesn’t let me get to settings. Under the plugin name on the right you have
Version 2.3.4 | By NetMadeEz and Nickel Pro | Visit plugin site | Settings | FAQ | Support
That Settings link goes to
http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=dukapress-shopping-cart-settingsto which I get the following error message
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
However, the settings link from the Dukapress listing works and this goes to
http://www.domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=dukapress-shopping-cart-settings
Something up here?
December 20, 2011 at 6:29 pm #3508DonalGuestOk, I deactivated all plugins and tried to add to cart but still no joy.
I also removed all other widgets (with all other plugins deactivated) and left only the Dukapress Shopping Cart but that didn’t work.
I then deleted some inactive Dukapress widgets from the bottom of the widgets page and added it again from the Available Widgets frame but still didn’t work.
Any other ideas? What exactly should hit the database first? Any few steps I can check to see how far it’s getting?
Thanks in advance.
Donal
December 30, 2011 at 7:28 pm #3914DonalGuestThink I figured this out. The default setting of Inventory Settings Active = Yes seemed to be the problem. Changing this to No has allowed me to add to cart.
