Preview pictures/confirmation mail

Hi!
I’ve got two problems.

1.) As you can see, there are no “preview pictures” for my products, only a text linked to the product. Though, if you click on the text the picture will appear…

2.) When someone orders a product from the site there is no confirming mail sent to me.

I’d be really grateful for help.
